Cane toad, threat to Samoa

June 2009. An awareness campaign is underway in Samoa about the cane toad following the discovery of a live one and also reports of several sightings. Samoa???s agriculture department says it suspects the toad may have hitched a ride into Samoa on a container ship. See: http://www.rnzi.com/pages/news.php?op=read&id=32866.
