November 2009. The wasp in the photos was found parasitising a housefly: an identification was requested.
A member wrote: it is hard to tell from the photo but it looks like an encyrtid. There are a number of encyrtids recorded from Musca domestica, e.g., Cerchysiella sp., Choreia inepta, Exoristobia philippinensis, Hemencyrtus herbertii and Tachinaephagus zealandicus. (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae).
